September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month

PROSTATE CANCER FORUM - A BIG SUCCESS


Monday 6th September 6.00pm - 9.00pm at the SS&A Club, Olive St, Albury.

Some of the 130 attendees at this year's forum


This forum  provided information about the range of treatment options available for prostate cancer, as well as the potential side effects of these treatments, including erectile dysfunction and incontinence.

Guest Speakers included a panel of experienced local specialists and Dr. Amanda Hordern, Director of Cancer Information and Support Services from Cancer Council Victoria.

Wodonga City Council lights up the Water Tower 
WODONGA’S water tower has joined landmarks such as the Sydney Opera House, Parliament House and Goulburn’s Big Merino in turning blue for prostate cancer.

The Woodland Grove feature donned its new shade last night and will remain blue every night in September, which is prostate cancer awareness month.
